AyeshaHeart was invited to Crossfit BootcampMNL and I was so excited and  curious at the same time about their WOD (Workout Of the Day) because I’ve heard that this is not your ordinary Gym day and that there is a twist.

I’ve been busy with my business and blog these past months and I have no time to go to the Gym anymore. Thanks to a fitness fairy, she got me an opportunity #yay!

Crossfit workouts are different everyday. The movements that you will do are that of which you can apply in your everyday routine said Coach Sid Salazar. what makes it difference? Here at CrossfitMNL, you are the machine! Yeah, that’s what I noticed when I came in – No fitness machines but only a plain Box. Interesting! In this “box” you will do the lifting, jumping, squats, running and so on…

Our Bootcamp WOD

A. Warm-up – We did some stretching on our Yoga mats, some squats, push ups, rabbit relay (we all look super cute ^^) Our muscles should be warm before the workout. Better flexibility improves performance and enabling your muscles to work effectively. (C) MayoClinic
B. Skill: Overhead Squat
C. MetCon (Metabolic Conditioning) – A method to burn Calories baby!

Coach Sid grouped us and gave a set of repetition movements to accomplish in a certain amount of time as many reps as possible (jumping, squats, running).

During our MetCon, I’m thinking sweat is just fat crying ha-ha. I have to keep moving. It was super fun! Great team work in all groups.
