 Obstacles are Opportunity

Most of us have goals, dreams and vision of what we want our life will look like in the next few years from now. You hustle, grind, completing one goal after another then we all face trials in our lives, we hit a bump BOOM! – Obstacles. These are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal. What do you do with it? Do you suddenly give up?

Obstacles quote

I’ve been told a million times to stop dreaming too big and “get a job” Sure, I have doubted myself, my capabilities at times. I make mistakes, I win deals and lose some too but I realized God is with me reminding me that I can do all things through him. I did not give up. Giving up is not in my vocabulary and I always think of ways on how to improve myself. I walk the walk and talk the talk.

What kind of mind setting do you have? Do not be an average person, YOU have to think different, YOU have to work harder & SMARTER and YOU have to succeed. It all comes down to YOU! Face rejection after rejection; if you fail do not give up. Do not be afraid to fail again because you will learn a lot from it.

Let no one ever tell you that you are not good enough or you can’t do something. You control the destiny of your life no one else. The more you struggle and never quit, the bigger will be the reward because every efforts towards your goals gets accounted for no honest effort goes to waste. Always remember if you want to be great you have to pay the full price. Your blood, sweat and tears because greatness never goes on sale – You have to pay full price!

The more tears you put in your dreams/ goals, the more closer it will get to your goals. So don’t be afraid to cry for your goals and always keep in mind – VICTORY COMES TO THOSE WHO NEVER QUIT because if it was easy and quick everybody would do it. It’s the hard part which makes it great. Never run from your pain, embrace it. Pain is a blessing that has a power to push you beyond your limits because success doesn’t come in comfort zone.

Always be the most hungry person in the crowd, with a fire burning inside your heart to make it happen and always find your WHY (Why you want to do it) so the WHY can push you every single time when you fall because no matter who you are life will knock you down but it doesn’t matter how many times you fail only thing which matters is how strong you get back up every single time.

Love the people who hate you because they’re the biggest source of motivation you can find to push yourself whenever you get too comfortable in life. Think about your haters because their negativity can ignite a fire inside to achieve your goals like no other. NO ONE CAN STOP YOU OTHER THAN YOU!

Continue to keep proving people wrong and prove yourself right. You’ve probably seen the drop of your life and now is the time to see the top. See you at the top? Slay Queen! You got this!

Dining In 7Flavors Buffet Restaurant by Chef Boy Logro: Here’s What You Need To Know About

7Flavors Buffet Restaurant by Chef Boy Logro

7Flavors Buffet Restaurant is co-owned by one of the most popular Filipino chefs on Philippine TV, Boy Logro. I’ve watched some of his cooking show and I so want to try it because his recipes are interesting and looks oh-so yummy. 7Flavors opened last May 2015 and is located at Addition Hills, A Mabini st. San Juan which is a one way traffic so you must use the side street to walk to it or go to the alternate route to reach the venue.

It serves a la carte meals on the first floor, and buffet on the second. It also contains 3 rooms that can be closed up for a more private family and friends gathering.

One of which can hold 30 people, while the other two can each hold 15 people. Overall, it can accommodate as much as 160 people. I was surprised with its huge parking area which makes it very convenient. Plus point!

Now Is The Time For You To Know The Truth About 7Flavors Buffet Restaurant

7Flavors Buffet Restaurant, San Juan Philippines #Buffet #Cafe #Restaurant

AyeshaHeart was invited by the awesome, Aldous  (a.k.a Team Aldous) to try 7Flavors Buffet Restaurant. I got curious about the story behind the establishment’s name so I asked Mr. Albert Borja, COO of 7Flavors and he told me that the dishes they serve revolve around 7 flavors: Sweet, Sour, Bitter, Salty, Spicy, Astringent and Umami.

7 flavors:

You might be wondering what’s the 6th & 7th flavors huh!

Umami (/uˈmɑːmi/) is a savory taste, or yummy one of the five basic tastes (together with sweetness, sourness, bitterness, and saltiness). A loanword from the Japanese (うま味 ?), Umami can be translated as “pleasant savory taste”. A strong meaty taste imparted by glutamate and certain other amino acids. You’ll taste it when you eat pork, beef, lamb, turkey and chicken, shellfish, especially oysters and uni (sea urchin), darker-fleshed fin fish such as tuna, mackerel and salmon to name a few. The astringent taste is a flavor of dryness that is generally produced by tannins in the bark, leaves and outer rinds of fruits and trees which are naturally occurring in tea, coffee, red wine and some types of fruit and herbs. Astringency is a tasting term used for wine, tea and the like. In Japanese culture, a clear distinction is made between bitter and astringent.

Yasss! I always save room for desserts. Here, it’s very Filipino-ish! They have the make-your-own halo-halo, Buko Pandan, Palitaw then the rest are Cookies, Mango Panna Cotta, Brownies, Rum balls and mini Cupcakes. Love the mini Red Velvet ❤️

Service is superb! The servers are presentable, friendly and attentive. They take the plates and drink glasses when they see it empty. Good job guys!

Verdict:
I’ve tried almost all the Buffet restaurant in Manila and to be honest, dishes in 7Flavors are F-R-E-S-H even at Dinner hours especially the Sushi. Trust me when I say you can safely eat here lunch and dinner time. I was stoked when I heard that they have a secret menu which is the Salmon Sashimi, it is super yummy and just after one bite, it makes me wanna go back to Japan 👌🏻 See, I was not able to take a photo of it as I ate it right away hihi ごめん ね (^_^). Seriously, thumbs up for their Japanese dishes.

Main dishes are OK! Not oily, not bland. Pizza is crisp, and my ultimate fave is their Tacos. Oh, that crisp, homemade flaky shell! You have to try it or else you’ll miss half of your life as per Mr. Albert Borja. They only have one carving station and limited selection of drinks.

The interesting part is the dishes are not all the same every week at 7Flavors. I’m sure this excites everyone as you get to try different dishes every time you visit.

For me, It is OK. I can’t compare it to Vikings, Spiral, Buffet101, Yakimix, Heat, etc. because 7Flavors has its own factor. They have a gourmet cafe, an artisan bakery and an Asian Buffet resto. No exceptional tho, but I’m sure they will improve it and Chefs can do more than this. Not a place for some succulent steaks or sumptuous Seafoods. You go here to relax and enjoy good foods with friends or family.

I can’t wait to try their ala carte on the 1st floor ☺️ I will definitely go back here if I will be around Greenhills again.
