Yes, with 93 fashion designers and over 120 models showcasing the intricacy of the indigenous weaves from the different regions of the Philippines, it will be a must see to view the different interpretations of the Modern Katutubo.

The Philippine Fashion Revolution aims to prove that cloth Weaving as an art is not dead or dying. In fact, it is more alive than ever. No longer relegated or limited to indigenous tribes, woven clothing can now be worn by the modern Filipina.

Ms. Universe 2018, Catriona Gray, wore an indegenous top created by our featured designer Not only did he dress our very own Ms. Universe, but he also did the resort wear of the 13th Mister International Candidates.

Happy Andrada, featured in CNN Philippines, Metro Style, Manila Fashion Festival just to name a few. Her name is more than just a label, she is one of our country’s pride in the fashion industry. With credentials that cannot be discounted, Happy Andrada is clearly someone to expect on this awesome event.

If you are a true lover of fashion and love supporting local products, the Philippine Fashion Revolution is a show that you simply cannot miss. It aims to parade designs that use quintessential fabrics infused with Philippine weaves to highlight modern Filipino fashion.

Press conference at Lynn Bentsen Talent & Fashion Academy  was a success! They officially introduced to us the 93 Fashion Designers who will dress up 120 Models and rock the runway wearing Philippine weaves & fabrics. Philippine Fashion Revolution is directed by well-respected fashion show directors Cate Figueroa & Raymond Villanueva. The fashion show is brought to you by Lynn Bentsen Talent & Fashion Academy. Need help in basic fundamentals in modelling, they got you, offering workshops on ramp modelling, acting and many more.

Designs infused with Indigenous weaves from different regions of our country. What will be their take on Modern Katutubo Fashion? It’s for us to know and for you to find out! Philippine Fashion Revolution is produced by Lynn Bentsen Talent & Fashion Academy and directed by Cata Figueroa and Raymond Villanueva.

Nina Corpuz, a newscaster who is also a fashion designer. With her classic designs that are timeless yet comfortable for daily use. Indeed, Ms. Nina Corpuz is one designer that we can look forward to this upcoming Philippine Fashion Revolution.

Rafael Gonzalez, he creates stunning suits and dresses up male newscasters. Sunday afternoon’s matinee will feature the innovation creations of over thirty of the country’s top young Fashion Designers of Designers Circle Philippines. It culminates with a grand gala night featuring iconic designer, Renee Salud. Renee is presenting his timeless signature wedding collection inspired with Filipiniana weaves and fabrics. This charity gala is a grand ball of Filipino Haute Couture, elegance and style celebrating the natural beauty of the Filipina. Modeled by some of Metro Manila high society, the proceeds of these creations will benefit ABS-CBN’s Bantay Bata 163 (Target amount to be given to Bantay Bata 163 is about half a million pesos and more).

Weddings at Novotel: Seasons of Love

Novotel Manila Araneta Center will also unveil new design looks for its wedding packages entitled, Weddings at Novotel: Seasons of Love. “As we unveil the new looks of our Wedding Packages entitled Seasons of Love, it was apt to also showcase the brilliant minds of young designers here in the Philippines and the much esteemed Mama Renee Salud who is generous enough to partner with Metro Manila’s socialites to extend the proceeds of his creations for Bantay Bata 163,” said Novotel Manila Araneta Center’s General Manager Mike Brown.
