What are Blackheads and What Causes Them

Goodbye Blackheads – this is what we all want to say but before we successfully say it, we have to understand all about it so we can keep it at bay. Blackheads are a type of comedo. Comedones occur when the pores in the skin become plugged with dead skin cells and sebum and exists with or without acne. The most common area is the T-zone which tends to be most oily. Blackheads appear so dark because the gunk and dead skin cells trapped in the pore oxidizes and turns black. A lot of us use different tools to remove blackheads, some use tweezers, peel-off masks, pore strips and clay masks but let’s face the fact; removing it with the first method for some is really satisfying to watch IF you have a strong stomach and the latter are relaxing ways to do but girllll, it doesn’t remove everything. I have a purifying facial from them, that includes pricking, masking, laser, diamond peel and oxygen infusion. I also love their line for acne prone like me such as the acne drying lotion but having it along with the soap and toner makes a really great difference in reducing the size of the pimples and making it less hurtful.
