Life begins outside your comfort zone

Life begins outside your comfort zone so give yourself permission to live a big life. Step into who you are meant to be. Stop playing small because you are meant for greater things. C’mon, God did not give you a precious life just to waste it so get out and make it happen! The best time for new beginnings is NOW.

2017 is here. How’s your first 10 days? Hangovers are gone and long holiday has been enjoyed by many and yet for most people, in January they will see absolutely NO CHANGE whatsoever – BACK TO THE JOB, BACK TO THE ROUTINE. Although just last week… They had the biggest plans and promise themselves that THIS YEAR is going to be their year! Change is scary, different, uncomfortable and unknown so it makes sense to just carry on doing what’s safe and “normal” doesn’t it? Well, for most, yes. BUT NOT YOU…

You’re here and you’re reading this blog post for a reason. You want more, you want change and you want THIS YEAR to be YOUR YEAR! Do not say you are not prepared, you don’t have this, don’t have that or will say you will study and research first before deciding on something. Do not be afraid to take risks because the more it is harder to do, the more tears you put in your goals, the more closer it will get you to your goals. Always remember victory comes to those who never quit because if it was easy everybody would do it, everybody can have a Ferrari makes sense?

It’s the hard part which makes it great. Every person gets equal chances to succeed in life because every person gets 24 hours in a day and it’s how you use those 24 hours decides your success or failure. If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done. Never run from your pain, embrace it, pain is a blessing that has a power to push you beyond your limits because success doesn’t comes in comfort zone. Be the most hungry person in the crowd with a fire burning inside your heart to make it happen.

Listen, you are never going to be 100% ready and that means every moment is the right time. When God calls us to step out of our comfort zone, He is not calling us to be comfortable in the situation, He is calling us to be comfortable in HIM in spite of the situation. Make a promise to yourself that in 2017 you are going to transform your life.

This is the year that I decided to take my blog from a hobby to a full time job and so far it’s going well!

It’s actually kinda good that I used it as a hobby for so long because it made the transition a bit easier. The main difference between now and then is being on a set schedule and having a bit more responsibility – I just keep telling myself I can do all things thru Christ which strengthens me (and it has worked!)

    • Reply Ayesha February 3, 2017 at 4:44 am

Wow! Congratulations Erin 🙂 Your blog is amazing, keep it up! Continue sharing what you love to do.

Change can be terrifying and amazing at the same time. We are a few weeks into the new year and I have a great deal of change heading my way. Our family has a great deal of changing coming this year. This year, I plan on trying to show people more of me, to put myself out there, and embrace all that is. I’m nervous but excited. Happy New Year!

Honestly I lived out of my comfort zone for the past 2 years and it was TIRING and quite stressful. Sure, push yourself and don’t become stagnant, but also don’t take on too much at once or else you make your life quite difficult!

  • Reply Tiana January 19, 2017 at 10:16 pm

This is a great post, and the middle/end of January is just the right time for it. You’re right, the hangovers have passed, and in many people, so has the short burst of new year inspiration. This was a good reminder to keep on pushing through the urge to go back to life as usual, and keep pushing for something new and better.

    • Reply Ayesha February 3, 2017 at 4:37 am

Thank you 🙂 Yasss! Go get what you deserve this 2017

It’s been a few years since I stepped out of my comfort zone and I love it! This year’s resolution was to try out new things that scare me. And so far I did rafting and I climbed an active volcano. It’s all in our minds, and you know what? Regret always comes from the things that we didn’t do, not from the ones that we did.

I have a habit of staying in my comfort zone. I don’t like anything about my routine being changed. It scares the crap out of me

    • Reply Ayesha February 3, 2017 at 4:32 am

It was my habit too but I asked my self, Am I really happy or just really comfortable? There are wonders to see, to feel and to enjoy once we are outside the box.
Step outside your comfort zone. Never stop growing 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.

Change is great when it’s moving you forward. This post is both encouraging and motivating. It seems like the festive holidays and new years resolutions and promises to make changes are a distant memory. Yet were still in January. So yes, change is hard but non the less achievable. Thanks for the post.

I can’t believe that the month is just flying by. You’re right about making this year our year. Most of the time we second guess our wants and we stay where we our rather than take that leap. This post is such a lovely reminder to just do it!

    • Reply Ayesha February 3, 2017 at 3:14 am

True! Outside of the comfort zones is where the magic happens.

  • Reply Marielle Altenor January 22, 2017 at 1:31 pm

I’m always afraid to step out of my comfort zone. Mostly, I think it has to do with the fact that I’m worried about making mistakes. I need to be stronger and go after the things that I want!

    • Reply Ayesha February 3, 2017 at 3:13 am

It’s OK to be scared. Being scared means you’re about to do something really, really brave. Also, keep in mind that everything you’ve ever wanted is ONE STEP outside of your comfort zone.

  • Reply Carol Cassara January 23, 2017 at 8:21 pm

We all need to learn to dive and take a chance. If we’re always comfortable that only means we’re settling for what we have. I think this post is very inspiring!
